About Our Boy Bandit
Bandit came to us back in 1997 at the age of 10. We purchased him from an equestrian center on Long Island, New York. He had been trained English and Western, had shown in the hunter divisions, and was used as a lesson and trail horse.
He is still semi-active in our lesson program and is always a hit with the kids because of his easy going temperment and goofball personality.
Always the favorite of the timid or scared beginners he goes as slow as he can and makes them feel comfortable...he gets quite comfortable himself as you usually have to end up pushing for a trot halfway through the lesson! = )

What's Bandit Up To?
Bandit went to his first show back in 7 years this past July and proved once again that he was still the same old competitor!
Winning 3 of 3 classes he was quite proud of himself!
He seemed to enjoy himself so much that we are bringing him out of his semi-retirement for at least 2-3 shows this upcoming 2003 season! We'll be sure to keep you updated!
In the mean time you can check out his show pics from July on the photo pages!

Bandit's Show Record Thus Far
Bandit has shown at local and rated shows on the East Coast Circuit and has placed in the top 5 in the class 97% of the time. He accels in Hunter Events and is looking forward to starting his new show career in Western Pleasure.
His favorite award so far was the honor of being 'Top Quarter Horse and Rider Team' at the well known 'Meadow' horse show series in New Jersey.
You can see him checking out his trophy in the picture on the lower right side of the page...He's quite proud of himself!

Bandit At A Show
We took this picture of Bandit while he was hanging out in the trailer before a show! Guess he didn't really want his picture taken! Hehe...

Makin' His Momma Proud
Here's Bandit checking out his High Point Year End Award that he worked all season to get. He was up against 13 other competitors.
