What's new with our page?
Our new show season is starting up and although we are now running a more limited program out of our farm location we are training horses throughout Kentucky and Tennessee all of whom we have very high hopes for. Look for us at shows and sales throughout Warren, Simpson, Williamson and Sumner Counties.

What's New Down On The Farm You Ask?
Nicole is now training horses in Kentucky and Tennessee for private owners as well as working with her own horses to get them ready for the show ring. She is now focusing on buying and selling as well as training a few select and talented horses for upcoming shows. She has downsized her private herd and has found good homes for 'Riley', 'Nicky' and 'Dylan' who are all enjoying their new careers as a lesson horse, trail horse and lesson/show pony, respectively. Nicole is also taking on new clients at this time so feel free to e-mail her about training or lessons. Discounted and group rates are now available. Nicole is also working on a series of books about training and riding as well as more articles for websites.

Nicole was recently asked to write an 'Ask The Expert' column for a wonderful new horse website called Equine Friends (www.equinefriends.com)...Be sure to check out the link to her very informative articles. It is included on our links page. You'll be sure to love the site! ~October 18, 2002~
On July 20th our horse Ginger G Bandit (aka Bandit) competed in the Local Circle M Schooling show winning 3 of 3 classes. Open Showmanship, Open Hunter Under Saddle and Open Hunter Hack. It was his first show in close to seven years!
Our last show for this particular season was the Circle M show in July. We've been so busy training and working on the farm that unfortunately showing fell by the way side the second half of the season.
After a short break this month all of our horses will be started back into training for the upcoming 2003 show season. We estimate our first show will take place sometime in March (Dates to come soon)....
This year you can expect to see a close to finished Arion under western and english tack and starting his training as a reiner, Spirit will be shown in showmanship, halter and lunge line classes, Bandit will make his third come back to the hunter ring and we'll also be introducing two horses new to the show ring for us.
Riley and Nicky will compete in their first shows with us this coming year!
Also, expect to see Radar at AQHA shows competing in both Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle classes!
Danny is currently in training for re-starting barrels and he will also be shown at Hunter shows both local and rated!
Also, watch the dressage arena for our off-track Standardbred 'Topps'...We estimate that he'll start training to first level this year and the sky is the limit from there on! We're so excited about his progress and potential!
We're hoping to also schedule in some fun shows, saddle clubs, barrel races, and games shows so keep your eyes out for us! This year we expect to come back sharper and better than ever! ~Niki (October 4, 2002)
Our horse 'My Kinda Kaydette' aka Danny competed in the 'A'-rated Mid-South Classic at Brownland Farms. Showing in only one class on Saturday (15-17 Equitation on the Flat) he and his rider recieved a well-earned fourth place ribbon! Look for our horses 'Ginger G Bandit' aka Bandit and 'Chrome Two Toes' aka Arion at the upcoming shows listed to the right! (July 6, 2002)
We have recently competed in our first two horse shows of the season!
In May 'Major Exposure' (aka Radar) was shown at the AQHA show in Columbia placing 8th in Novice/Youth Hunter Under Saddle on the first day and 6th in Novice/Youth Hunter Under Saddle (under both Judges) on the second day! We look forward to our next AQHA show!
On June 15th our horse 'Chrome Two Toes' (aka Arion) was shown at the Circle M Local Schooling show placing 1st (under Western tack) in his Adult Rider class and placing 3rd in his Green Horse Class. This was his first horse show! He recieved numerous praises from the many spectators, fellow competitors and also from the judge. Arion will begin showing regularly next month!
Also at the Circle M show our student Samantha placed 4th (of 7) in Showmanship, 2nd (of 6) in Hunter Under Saddle and 3rd (of 6) in her Western Pleasure class aboard her beautiful palomino mare 'Peaches'. This was the first show for Samantha and Peach as a team! Congratulations to them on their sucess and a job well done!
Photos will be posted within the next few days so be sure to check back!
Our yearling colt, Spirit, who will one day stand stud at HRF is now measuring at 13.1 hands and will soon be shown at the local level and rated Hunter Shows in Halter and In-Hand classes....Be sure to keep an eye out for him! Feel free to browse through the rest of the site as new pics and info have been added! ~Niki (June 15, 2002)
The pages for our new horses and pony (Riley, Tops and Dylan) are finished! Be sure to check them out there are lots of great photos...also, some new pics have been added to the photo page. We will have more coming soon. All of the horses are settling in just fine. Tops has arrived safely from NJ and is adjusting nicely. February 12, 2002
We have just purchased 2 new additions to our farm! A 15.2 hand Quarter Horse Gelding and a 13.1 hand bay pony....more info and pictures coming soon! Also, our new Standardbred 'Tops' is set to arrive Sunday morning! We can't wait! January 31, 2002
The horses are enjoying the few inches of snow we've gotten! They're feeling frisky with the cold weather! (Take a look at our little guy Luke having some play time in the arena.)
We're working on receiving a now retired Standardbred Race horse fondly named 'Tops'. His registered name is Alamhurst Top Gun...and hopefully he'll be arriving soon! Once he arrives we'll be sure to post photos on the site. We're going to turn him into a dressage horse. ; ) January 18, 2002
